The Role
We are after a highly experienced Contract Financial Systems Accountant or Analyst for this newly created "membership" organisation with a national presence, to assist the Establishment CFO in the setting up of their systems and processes. Strong experience and knowledge of Xero is a prerequisite for the role.
This is an urgent-to-fill role so availability needs to be either immediate or availability within the next 2 weeks.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be assisting with setting up the financial accounts and systems that link with all member organisations, so experience in systems and the intricacies of a variety of different ones, is an imperative. Some management reporting is necessary, however more of the focus will be on the financial accounting side. You will need to have an intimate knowledge of Xero
You will Need

to be a qualified Accountant

to be an advanced user of Xero

strong Excel skills
-
to be strong with processes and systems

experience with Govt funding

to have preferably had some experience in Not-for-Profit, health, or a community-based service
You will Bring

the ability to step in quickly and get up to speed fast, without a protracted learning process!

an intimate understanding of Xero and how best to use it

accuracy in your work

a background strictly to accounting standards

experience in working independently and remotely, or be comfortable working this way

your own home office set-up to operate from the get-go!
