As part of this growth strategy, an opportunity exists for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition, strategic account growth and long-term partnerships across the New Zealand market.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Country Head, this is a senior consultative sales role focused on identifying, shaping and winning complex transformation opportunities.
Working alongside consulting, solutioning and delivery teams, you will engage with C-Suite and senior executives, build trusted relationships and help organisations navigate large-scale business and technology change.
While opportunities exist across multiple sectors, experience within Government, Telecommunications, Utilities, Financial Services, Infrastructure or Enterprise Technology Services will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across enterprise and government markets

Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CEOs and senior decision-makers

Develop strategic account plans and growth initiatives
-
Lead complex pursuits, tenders, proposals and RFP responses

Collaborate with consulting and technical teams to develop compelling client solutions
-
Drive opportunities across digital transformation, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, data and customer experience
-
Develop strong relationships with technology partners and industry stakeholders
-
Represent the organisation at industry events and executive forums
-
Contribute to revenue growth and market expansion objectives
What We're Looking For
You will be a commercially astute business development professional with a strong track record of selling technology consulting, professional services or transformation programmes.
You will bring:

Proven success in Business Development, Strategic Sales, Client Partner or Account Management roles
-
Experience selling complex technology, consulting or managed service solutions
-
Strong understanding of digital transformation, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, data or enterprise applications
-
Ability to engage and influence senior executives and key stakeholders
-
Experience leading proposals, pursuits and bid teams
-
Existing relationships within New Zealand's technology sector
-
Strong partner and vendor ecosystem exposure
-
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
