Asset and Facilities Management
We’re looking for an experienced Asset Manager to take ownership of a diverse infrastructure portfolio and ensure assets are planned, maintained, and developed to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective services to the community.
This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll influence long-term investment decisions, guide asset planning frameworks, and provide trusted advice to senior leadership and elected stakeholders.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead the development and delivery of robust asset management planning across multiple asset classes, ensuring alignment with long-term strategies, budgets, and community expectations.
Key focus areas include:

Leading Asset Management Plans and long-term infrastructure strategies

Lifecycle planning across acquisition, maintenance, renewal, and disposal

Risk-based investment prioritisation and resilience planning

Driving data integrity, asset systems, and evidence-based decision making

Providing clear, strategic reporting to senior leaders and governance groups

Supporting capital programmes and business case development
This role plays a critical part in ensuring infrastructure is future-fit, financially sustainable, and aligned with community outcomes.
What You’ll Bring

You’ll likely have:

Proven experience (5+ years) in asset management within infrastructure, utilities, or local government

Strong understanding of lifecycle planning, risk, and asset performance frameworks

Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical advice

Experience contributing to long-term planning, budgets, and investment decisions

Knowledge of relevant legislation and infrastructure standards
