We’re after an experienced Procurement and Sourcing Specialist for a contract of up to 12 months.

This is a role for someone who understands end-to-end sourcing - from strategy and market engagement through to contract negotiation, implementation and supplier management. You'll work with senior stakeholders, develop sourcing strategies, run robust procurement processes and negotiate contracts that deliver commercial value while managing risk.

You can be based in any location across the country, and, on offer is flexibility while working within a collaborative national team.

What you'll bring

You'll have proven experience managing complex sourcing activities within large organisations and understand how to balance commercial outcomes with governance requirements.

Experience within a large complex structure, in the public or private sector, in education, social services, health, infrastructure, social services or any other complex, technical or specialised environment, is a prerequisite.

• At least five years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or contract management
• Experience in Central Government process, either supplying or sourcing.
• Strong RFx and tender management experience
• Proven contract negotiation and supplier relationship skills
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships
• Sound commercial judgement and an eye for risk, value and process improvement
• Experience delivering measurable procurement savings and business outcomes
